What is it?

An energy chakra center absorbs and releases energy to and from the body.   If we were able to see the chakras we would observe a wheel of energy continuously revolving or rotating.

Another way to think about a chakra is to use the analogy of a computer disk, which stores and distributes information.   A chakra does a similar function in the human body.
